What’s Happening?

I read something recently about getting things done versus making things happen. At first glance they seem very much related. But they really are quite different.

Getting things done is much easier. It involves going through the checklist of life day in and day out. Sure it’s busy, but where is it going and is anything being accomplished?

On the other hand, making things happen looks just as busy but is much more difficult to achieve. It has a goal,, knows where it is going, and produces results.

As a Christian, merely getting things done really doesn’t cut it. We’ve been called to do more than go through the motions. God has challenged us to produce results.

What’s the difference between getting things done and making things happen? By getting things done, life impacts us. But by making things happen, we impact life.

The world needs you to make things happen.

Live The Mission,
Greg
